I'm a mixed media artist and am passionate about studying a variety of subjects, especially dance and nature. Nature really does provide all the colours, textures and linear patterns needed to create amazing pieces of art! You can find my artwork and info about my other creative projects here.

Why the excitement about using mixed media?

Mixed media art provides a way for artists to express their creativity in an innovative and dynamic manner. Through the combination of mediums such as paint, ink, newspaper clippings and other objects, it is possible to create complex and layered masterpieces that are entirely unique. This type of art allows those who practice it to develop a sense of self-expression through the blending of materials and techniques in spectacular ways.

Why the emphasis on sketchbooks?

Sketchbooks can help to foster creativity and provide a safe space for artists to experiment with different styles and techniques, allowing them to develop their own unique artistic style. Additionally, sketchbooks are often used as evidence of development in art college; however, the pressure of filling an empty sketchbook can be difficult for some artists. With this in mind, I hope to provide support and guidance so that other artists may have an enjoyable experience while creating artwork in their sketchbooks.
